If I click on a link to a WMP recommended audio file (a radio station,
etc..,) Something called WindowsMedia.com opens up on the left side of my
screen.
As it loads, it indicates that it's connecting, lists the file
correctly, then indicates that it's connected. If it's an .asx file, the
progress bar starts to show the piece playing.
But nothing comes out of the speaker.
FWIW, if I invoke Realplayer on the same file, I get normal output.
Two questions:
1. Is there some setting to tell WMP that I have a sound card with speakers
connected?
2. Is there a way to make RealPlayer or WMP the default for sound files?
