WinXP slow when shutdown-takes around 5-10 mins

My windows XP is very slow when shuting down.It was
working find before but i can't know, what's making it
slow down.If any of you has the solution please reply or
email me.

I tried to install winxp service pack 1a but i get a
message box asking a link called "proplus.msi" which is
suppose to be on office xp front page cd but i can't find
any there.Email-
