Since installing and upgrading my computer from Windows ME
to the Home Edition of Windows XP, I tried to figure
out "where" the antivirus program was on my desktop. It
appears as a shortcut but not on the lower taskbar.
Anyways, I tried to launch it and nothing happens. Why
did this happen and how do I get the antivirus program to
run as it did when I first installed it?
Is this normal, has anyone else had the same problem? I
went to the Symantec site and there are about 3 pages of
instructions for me to do "things" to the registry. Is
this what I have to do...I am nervous!!

How to uninstall Norton AntiVirus by using the Rnav2003.exe removal =
utility=20
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nav.nsf/docid/2001092114452606

Use the above utility to remove all traces of a previous version of =
Norton AntiVirus,
reboot and begin the installation of Norton 2003 AntiVirus.
