This probably has something to do with my BIOS as I just got a new
board, but it's used and didn't come with a manual so I'm not sure
what to do. I'm (seemingly) randomly getting the 'standby restart
shutdown' prompt after my computer's been idle for a while. I have
all screensaver and power mgmt. stuff turned off and it never shuts
itself down it just gives me the prompt. How do I get rid of this
annoying behavior?
(IE windows randomly shut down while I'm working in them. I have all
updates. Could this also be a BIOS issue?)

You should be able to locate a PDF format of the motherboard manufacturer's
web site.
