View Full Version : How do I receive mail at startup automatically...?

In Outlook, how do I send/receive email at startup? I have selected the
send/receive at startup or opening of the application, but it doesn't work.
When I click the send/receive button in the top section, then I get my
emails, but it is not occurring automatically.

Thanks.

Have you gone into Options and set the defaults? Tools, options.

Mary,

I have gone to Tools, Options, but I don't see a clear indication of where I
should select the option I'm looking for.

Please advise.

Thank you.

David

That is the correct place for it. I have never heard of it not working.
Have you tried a System Restore? The only other thing I can think of
off the top of my head is to backup you email and identity and reinstall
OE.
