HELP,

I have recently needed to try and reinstall XP Pro after a
visit to PC world. I had to format my C: drive and attempt
a clean install with my XP Pro disc. I get an error
message that states that my C: Drive is corrupt and cannot
be repaired. I can however load back on the hard drive my
original ME that came with my PC.

I then tried updating over the top of ME and got the same
message.

Is my C: drive up the suff or is this a Microsoft
problem ??

Can any one help?

Stuart

Boot the XP CD-Rom, you'll be given the opportunity to delete the partition,
and abort the install, then again boot the XP CD-Rom to avoid unexpected
drive letter assignment with your new install.
