MDAC Hotfix error message

I keep getting the same message about windows ready to
install a new update (KB832483)but after it starts I get
a message that says an error has occurred. This has
happened 3 or 4 times in the past week or so...

What's going on here? Hope someone can help.

Hi

I suggest you upgrade to MDAC 2.8 and see if it solves the problem,
you can find the download link here:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/dataaccess.asp



After the MDAC upgrade, download KB832483 from
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS04-003.asp
and install it manually.
