On my laptop, getting to standby is blocked by this message: "The device driver for the Standard 101/102-key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 keyboard is preventing the device from entering standby." It adds that I may need to upgrade this driver. I have a OEM XP
Home version. Standby worked fine until a couple of months ago. No systems check shows any problem with this driver. No update seems available. I have deleted and reinstalled this driver (if that is even possible with an OEM version?) Running msconfig get
s me nowhere. Anyone have experience with this problem?

See if this helps: "Unable to Use Power Management Features"
