Decreasing text size

For some reason, the text on my monitor is getting
smaller. I have checked the resolution and it is 800 by
600. I've noticed how difficult it is to read some pages
with the print noticably smaller now than previously.
Does anyone have any suggestions before I go blind ??
Some of the script I can't even tell what it is.
