Peter, I've never tried it but it seems like the folks that use it sure love
it. Judging by posts that show up in the XP newsgroups, it has had its ups
and downs as far as compatibility. I assume the occasional problems are
fixed in a somewhat timely manner since I haven't noticed a consistent
stream of complaints.
May want to double check your system with something like AdAware to be sure
that the Incredimail installation didn't add any extras behind your back.
Again, not familiar with Incredimail on a firsthand basis so don't know if
it's guilty or innocent of that behavior. I recommend this only because
checking for adware/spyware after a new software installation is good
practice.

I do love my Incredimail, and I even purchased the full version. However,
there are "incredible" drawbacks. I can't find any way to join a newsgroup
or to back up mail messages. In addition, signatures are placed at the very
bottom of reply messages, even if you include the reply. No one is going to
see your signature down there.
However, it is great for sending clients a Thank You for Your Order email,
or for sending a friend an uplifting message. However, you'll have to
continually update your address book between the two if you want to do that.
I switch between both.

If my Mum can download it, set it up and use it on her PC then anyone can.
My only question is.. does it contain spyware? I haven't had chance to run
spybot on her PC yet.
