I am very satisfied with Office 97. I only use three parts - Excel, Word,
Office Tools.
When I tried to install this into XP, the installation program kept stalling
about 1/2 way through on certain files. It would freeze at about 50%. Is
Office 97 compatible with XP?
I kept waiting forever for something to happen. Nothing. I know in Win98
when this happens, I just Control-Alt-Del and end task. This doesn't seem
to work in XP. It freezes so bad here that even the shut off button will
not work. I have to shut down the main power to the computer at the rear of
the case. So, what replaces Control-Alt-Del in XP?
