When i go to start, connect to, chow all connections and
then right click on Local Area Connection and choose
properties, a windows error report comes up and closes
the program??

You must be having other problems also. What are they, why are you right

The only thing I can think of is to remove you network card drivers from the
device manager and reboot so windows will install fresh drivers. Also you
could check the manufactures web site for you net card and check for new
drivers. Someone else may have a better idea.
