User account internet access w/ Direcway satellite connection

I am forced to use a satellite connection (hate it) but I
can only access the internet through it when I am logged
on with the administrator account (not a good thing).
When I log on as a user, I can connect the Direcway
without any problem but when opening IE, I can not access
the web. It gives me a satellite linkage error. Can
anyone please help me?

You should be able to give your USER acct, Administrator privileges.

Control Panel> User Accts> Click Acct to change> Change my acct Type> =
Select Administrator type

Yes, that can be done, but it is not suggested to run XP
as administrator. I figured it out which not only allows
any user to connect now, it also increased my Direcway
speed considerably. I am amazed at how much my speed
increased.
