No word processor/spreadsheet in WinXP?

Had comp shop upgrade from ME to XP for second time after
constant rebooting problems. This time no notepad, works
or any word processing or spreadsheet programs are on my
computer. How can I get them back? Use XP CD? (Hate to
mess it up again... getting expensive!) Thanks.

No word processor or spread comes standard with XP. You have to buy it. It
never came with you ME either. Notepad is there. You may have bought a
"package" deal of OEM software with the original computer purchase.
