View Full Version : No word processor/spreadsheet in WinXP?

I obviously made a faulty assumption. First upgrade was
apparently an overlay of XP onto ME; second was clean
install, so some programs disappeared. Microsoft Works
was part of a software package with the computer
purchase. I have the 'Application Recovery' CD but of
course now it doesn't recognize it as the original
computer, so won't let me run it. I'll check with HP to
see if they have a solution; hate to buy another program
but really need Word and Excel. Thanks to all for your
prompt replies.

>Windows XP is an operating system, nothing more.
