I want to use the fax feature of WinXP on my wireless
connected laptop. The laptop is networked to a desktop PC
(Win ME) that has a modem. Can the fax software be set up
to use the modem on the PC and if so, how? I don't use
the modem on the laptop because I use DSL. Can one change
the modem in the fax configuration box? How can you get a
network modem to show up? How if it is possible? Thanks!

Windows XP Fax can serve as a client to SBS Fax and Windows 2003 Server Fax,
neither of which you would be running on Windows ME.
