I can not set the video resolution on my monitor above
640x480 with 16 colors.I've gone the route of Display
Properties, Settings, etc.No luck. Any suggestions?

You need to download the latest video card drivers for your video card.
You can get this from your video card manufacturer's website.

Frank,
It might be due to video drivers [might be using Standard VGA]. =
Reinstalling the original drivers should help or you might try updating =
it.

Check the manuals which came with the unit. If not, you may use a =
third-party System Infiormation Utility such as AIDA32.
http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php. After running AIDA32, check the debug =
section and not down the Video card name.

Try reading your manual. Or go to control panel>settings>device manager and
look at the video card their, but the manual is the best.
