How can I remove programs from my startup folder?

I have several programs that start up automatically with boot-up that I
would like to remove.

Can anyone point me to a FAQ or other source to help me remove these
programs.

XP Home Edition Help is no help.

Thanks

Mike

Download the Startup Manager from here:
http://f2.org/archive/software/startupmgr.html
I put it on all of the systems I build.
