I am having trouble with my DSL Internet connection.
After being connected for awhile (1-2 hours) my
connection goes hey wire. I am unable to use the web,
but the properties of the connection says I am still
connected. When this problem occurs I send an enormous
amount of packets and enet light on my modem flashes
rapidly. The problem is not fixed when I turn the modem
off and then back on, disconnect and try and reconnect.
I tried pinging an IP address and domain name with no
success. The problem is temorarily fixed when I reboot.
I have replaced the NIC, Modem, and cabling. SBC says
the problem is on my end and suggests reinstalling the OS
(XP). This seems unreasonable to me. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
