Firewalls and security patch

First, I don't know how to install the firewall, and I
really want to install it. I was told I have it with my
microsoft. Also this new virus that is out. I want to be
able to install the patch, but I have no idea how to do
it. I have a toll free phone number. If someone knows
what they are doing, I would like to speak with them, and
perhaps they could walk me through this. Please, I have
Road Runner, and many people I know are having problems.

An interesting name!
A. You do not have to install the Windows XP Firewall since it is already
there. You can enable it in several ways which other answers give you. Read
them and have at it.
B. The Symantec Site [which others have already given you] is specific on
how to download and execute the Worm Removal Tool. Again, have at it.
