Copy & Paste

[DCC]

When I copy any text or anything, and try to paste it into a different
program such as notepad/FrontPage or word, it only will paste if the program
is open before I copy it.
If I copy some text and then open Word to paste the text nothing gets
pasted. If Word is open before I copy the text, it works just fine.
Is there a setting that has changed or something else I'm missing?
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I just copied from your post and then opened up word2000 and pasted fine. I
will have a look around and let you know if I find anything. Interesting

It started doing this a month or so ago. Using XP prof. sp1 + all updates.

This happens to me with Wxp Home / Word 2002 - it seems to clear the
clipboard on startup. It is annoying but I don't think there is any
setting available to fix it.

It is NOT word, it does it with Frontpage, Notepad, and others.
