I have Windows XP Home running on a Dell 8200. I just
tried to install a new HP printer, but it would not
connect. I called a new friend in India at the HP help
desk, and after running through several procedures, it
appears my Print Spooler is disabled and not able to
start. My new friend said it is most likely corrupted.
I think he is right, because my old printer stopped
working for no reason some time ago.

Question: is there a way I can replace the corrupted
Print Spooler file without reloading Windows XP (which I
can't find, of course)?
