Hi,
It's not a function of the operating system, it's a function of whatever
version of Excel you are now using. From Excel, click Windows/arrange, and
change your view here.

tabs disappear from the toolbar and I have to go up to Window then toggle
onto the file I want. It's a pain! In W98, the tabs shrunk in size the
more files I had open but it made it much more efficient to move between
different files opening in the same application software.

I still can't get the different opne excel files to show in the toolbar to toggle on and open. Any other ideas. Word works, excel does not. I'm using Office 2000.

Hi Glen,
No further ideas, you should take this up in one of the Excel groups if no
one else responds.
