View Full Version : IE windows open size

When I open Internet Explorer the windows is small instead of full
screen. How can I make it open in full screen only ?

BTW this only happens when I click on a link or open a second IE
window. The first window (if I open it from the IE icon) is full but
any other window will open as a small and I have to re-size it.

Thanks
BP

Drag the window to almost full-screen size with the mouse, press CTRL
while you close it.

Create your own shortcut to IE and then in its properties, choose Run
Maximized. You can then remove the original IE icon from the desktop in
Desktop Properties and put your Icon in its place.

But the problem only happens when I Navigate away from the original IE
that opens full screen or when IE opens automatically from me
clinking a link.. Example: I click link from News reader, IE is not
full screen.

May be an user problem, not a Windows problem as it works on other
installations...

What other installations?

Can't seem to find your solution on any of these lists?
