How to start in safe mode?

my shutdown menu doesn't appear to have the same options
I'm used to.

In XP, I'm not seeing an option for "restart in Safe Mode"

Can someone help me with this?

Hi Steve,

You can go to "Start" and type "msconfig" in the Run line and choose
"Diagnostic Startup" or you can reboot and hit F8 before XP starts.
