I just purchased a new computer with XP. I was running my old computer with
98SE. I saved my address book and mail file "Outlook.pst". How can I import
this to Outlook? Where does Outlook in XP store the address book and mail?
I appreciate any help that you can provide to me. Thanks in advance Jerry

You can put your pst file anywhere you like. Remove the "Read-Only"
attribute, open Outlook and go to File-Open-Outlook Data file.
Done.

Just to clarify: you are speaking of importing into MS Office Outlook and
not XP's Outlook Express? If so, use Outlook's import/export wizard under
File>Import and Export...
As for your second question, all mail and contacts are stored in the single
..PST file, which, for example on my XP box is:
C:\Documents and Settings\James\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst

Hope this helps!
