HELP!!! I have WinXP Home on my computer and I hate the
Windows messenger pop up. I went into REGEDIT and (I know
bad) deleted all messenger files. When I did this I lost
my ability to put in the address for my internet
provider. Dial up is grayed out as an option in Network
setup. I also cannot get the system to recover as it
tells me "Cannot save information files please shut down
and reboot to do sys recover and that does absolutely
nothing even if I push F8. What can I do? If I reinstall
XP home over this I loose the license number on the PC and
it is different than the license number on my newly
purchased CD that I am using to try and reinstll MSN and
messenger. Any other options?
