SMC7404BRA and Win XP

I have installed a SMC74004BRA router/ print server unit and todate I cannot get my Epson Stylus Photo 900 to print correctly, when I send a Test page to the printer it takes forever to print ie it will print part of a line then stops for 10/15 sec then pr
ints a bit more etc, any one had a similar problem??
