Running Windows XP Home edition. Trying to download worm
blaster patch last night. Comes up with Trust Certificate
but it says issuer of certificate is unknown and then I
click No. If I click yes, it proceeds to load but says the
Update.inf file is bad. Had problems before with windows
update corrupting files and MSN tech support had me
editing windows update registry (amoung other things).
Tried some of Microsoft XP solutions but didn't work. Is
there way to uninstall Windows Update and reinstall with a
fresh copy??? or another workaround? Thanks.
