Sorry I think I said this already but I haven't seen the
topic yet and it's been a while: Anyway I ran a program
to erase Kazaa...and Notepad went with it! How can I re-
install Notepad? I liked that program and would
appreciate any info on how to get it back onto my
computer! Thanks - and please email if you can!

Replies normally go to the group, so all can share and comment.

First, see if it's truly gone. Click START|RUN, and type NOTEPAD <enter>.

If it comes up, simply create a new shortcut. The file, NOTEPAD.EXE is in
the c:\windows\system32 directory (folder). You can locate it with the
SEARCH function, too.

Better yet. Get Editpad Lite (http://www.editpadpro.com/editpadlite.html).
It's free, uses tabs for multiple documents and doesn't have a size limit.
And it does everything notepad does faster and better.
