Cropped Video

For some reason, all of the sudden when I play videos on
my computer thorugh any software, not just Windows Media
Player, the video portion only shows a cropped version of
what should be more video. I am not refering to the zoom
size (%100, 200% etc) but rather the actual viewing area.
Almost like it is ZOOMED in on a particular part of the
video. How can this be corrected.
