How can I change the look of the user accounts screen under XP?
I want it to display the screen similar to the one used in W2K.
Thanks.

Hi,
This setting controls which type of logon screen is shown, either the
classic Windows NT/2000 format or the Windows XP welcome screen.
Start/Run/Regedit
Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\
CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
Value Name: LogonType
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = Classic Mode, 1 = Welcome Screen)
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called 'LogonType'
and edit the value according to the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the
change to take effect.
Note: Using the classic logon method will also disable the use of fast user
switching, where applications remain active in other users sessions.
The automated edit can be found here:

Thanks kelly.
I already know how to do that, but I was after something different.
After logging into windows, I want to administer user accounts from Control
panel, but i don't want to use the XP style manager. I want to use the
2K/2K3 style account manager.
How is this possible?
Thanks!

Hi Darth 2000,
You may use "Control userpasswords2" [Type it in RUN box]
or,
For XP Professional, you may use: Type "lusrmgr.msc"
