Remote Procedure Call & NT authority\system shut down

About 5 minutes after logging on to the internet I get a
message saying:

Must restart because Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service
terminated unexpectenly.
This shutdown was initiated by NT authority\system

The window gives me a minute to save whatever I am doing
then the computer shut downs by itself. Is there anything
I can do to get rid of this problem?

If your computer is constantly rebooting, quickly go to:
Start > Run and type: shutdown -a , and hit enter.

This should halt the rebooting problem.

Then immediately turn-on Windows XP's built-in Firewall:
