I do not know what caused this to stop working, but now
when I right click on the desktop, nothing happens. No
window opens to allow new files to be created or access
into the display properties. Nothing at all happens.
Can someone tell me what property in the registry got mis-
set?

Thanks!

Maybe it is more simple than a registry setting. Does the right-click bring
up a context sensitive menu anywhere else? If not, you probably don't have
the right mouse button set up properly. Go to control panel and open the
mouse control panel option. The specifics depend on your particular mouse,
but it should be straight forward. Good luck.
