After successfully removing the newest worm, my desktop opens with a
message: Rundll-Error loading NvQTwk.
I found this file in c:/windows/system32/reinstall Backups\0003 Driver
Files. I have no idea what I should do with this file.
The computer is otherwise working. I wish I could discover what the file
NvQTwk does and how to get it back! Thanks elen

It belongs to your NVidia Video Card. If you recently updated the
drivers for the device: uninstall the drivers now, then reinstall the
new version.
You can also remove this item from your startup settings. Applications
that start with Windows can be found here:
- the WIN.INI, section [windows], entries "run=" and "load="
- the Registry keys
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunServices
- the folders
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ALL USERS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\{username}\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP.

Hi! Thanks to your good advise and directions I am no loger receiving the
"RUNDLL" message. That was the 3rd box to come up on my desktop upon
opening. I stil have the other 2 boxes appearing.
Box1: Windows cannot find ."7 blank boxes 14 blank boxes
Make sure you type the name correctly, and ten try again to
search..................

Box 2 : Could not load or run "7 blank boxes 14 blank boxes" specified in
the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the
referance to it in the registry.

All these problems began after I was attacked by the "Blaster" downloaded
the patch from microsoft and got and used the remove program from Norton.
The simple questions is " How to I find something either on my hard drive or
in the registry if I have no idea what its name is???????????????? Thanks
again Elen

See "How to Troubleshoot By Using the Msconfig Utility in Windows XP"
