How do you remove a user that has been created on XP? When
I try to remove a user, I receive an error message saying
I need to have an administrator perform this action. If I
need to name myself as the administrator for the PC, how
do I that?
Thanks

If you don't already have Administrator privileges, you'll have to log
in as an Administrator, right-click My Computer, select Manage, select
Groups, open the Administrators group and add yourself.

You need to log in as Administrator. How you do it depends on which
version of XP you have. (It's always a good idea to give this info
anyway)

Pro - at the welcome screen press Ctl-Alt-Del twice
Home - boot into safe mode.

Then, delete the user, and give your user admin rights so that you can
do these actions from your user in future.
