If you use msconfig to disable the startup programs (in the Startup group
and those in the registry, plus check for any in Task Scheduler set to run
on startup), do you still get the error message? If not, reenable each
startup program one at a time until the error reappears. Then you'll know
which program is configured to load on Windows startup and which is bitching
about being farked up.
