Dual Monitors

I have a Toshiba Laptop (Satellite 1405-s151) with what
appears to be a Trident card/driver (CyberAladdin-T -
Cyberblade XP ai1). I can not seem to get this to span
the display across 2 monitors. I can get what displays
on the laptop to display on the external monitor but not
spanned - exactly what appears on one appears on the
other. Does anyone know of a way to correct this?
