Sometime back I came across information regarding "viewing existing ports
and manually opening or closing them". I remember I even closed a port on
the recommendation of the site. I think it may have been this site but I
cannot currently access it.

Between the information given on the site (like I said, I'm not positive it
was this one) and loading auto-updates, running a firewall, and having
auto-virus updates, I THINK I'm safe (for the time being). I'm trying to
find some more information on viewing and manually adjusting ports and would
like to know if anyone has any additional sites with comparable information
that they would be willing to share.
