Tried to set up my CD-R using the software that worked in
98SE.
Nero software would not find the network so tried to
uninstall. Of the 3 programs installed, one was removed.
Image Drive comes up interupted and closes. Nero CD burn
comes up 1136 error and reverses.
So I went and deleted the files directly in Explorer but
they still show in the Start menu and in add/remove in the
CP.
With 98se I'd use Nortons win dr. tweak and reg clean to
clear this but haven't installed service pack 1 which
tweak says it needs, my Nortons Utilities won't load into
XP (have a newer version ordered) and apparently no reg
clean for XP.
So what to do.
Thinking trying to reinstall the programs and see if they
will uninstall.
But any other idea.
