When tracking down my problem with my flash drive, I was having to do system
restore to track when the problem arose. Being as I only had the laptop on
9th January there weren't too many to try. I noticed that when I did the
one for 17th Jan it took a lot longer than the others and there wasn't a
great difference in the number of progs installed. I wondered if it was
because I'd forgotten to take out the flash drive at the time and was
worried that it wasn't set up correctly.
So last night I did system restore again and chose the 14th Jan and thought
I would re-install anything else that needed to be there.
It took 2 1/2 hours. Is this normal? I know it took nowhere near that time
when I was doing them the first time because I checked them all in one
evening. Have I missed something that I should have done before starting
the System Restore?
