Umm, have you got a backup?

Did you check the recycle bin to see if that folder is there?

Did you do a search with search (hidden) files/folders also?

Last resort if not found..maybe you can do a system restore to get them
back...Maybe!

If system restore does not help.

You'll need 3rd party software to recover these files. I use FileSaver,
from http://www.file-saver.com

Of course, the less work you do with your computer, in the meantime, the
better your chances of recovering your deleted files/folders intact.

Have you logged-on as Administrator and seen if you can see the files from
there? It could be that your log-on has corrupted......

System Restore does NOT affect data files. Unfortunately.

Boot into Safe mode (tap the F8 key while booting up). You should then see
the Administrator log-on appear. If your XP was pre-installed, it is 99.99%
certain that the password is blank.

Good luck.

Sorry, but no. System Restore restores the operating system; it
does nothing for data files.

There is more than one way to help someone. One way is to tell
him the answer to his problem. Another way is to tell him that
something he might consider trying will not help him and is a
waste of his time.

The second way isn't as good as the first way, but it's far from
useless. If I knew the solution, I would have told him, but I
didn't, so I did what I was able to--not as good as a solution to
his problem, but better than nothing.

I left it up to the poster to decide what I stated..also I use the word
maybe twice in it for a reason (wasn't 100% sure).
My post:
Last resort if not found..maybe you can do a system restore to get them
back...Maybe!
