Downloading problem

Can anyone help me keep downloaded files from having a .wmv
added as if they were Windows Media files. The actual .exe
file, for instance, becomes unusable. What's going on?

Most liekly it's a virus that you are downloading from Kazaa or some other
p2p app. you got about 100 virus' right now.
