What a CLOB. None of the processes you mention delete restore points. SR is
excellent - it has saved my butt many a time, just because it doesn't for
you, doesn't mean it doesn't work for everyone. Backup does not back up to
CDs, it needs a tape drive or similar.

All in all, a completely useless reply.

What a stupid response. If you don't know why don't you keep your mouth
shut?
What makes you think he has an XP disk? What makes you think he has the
backup program?
System restore worlks great. Its restore points are not deleted by disk
cleaning or defrag.
