Hi

I could not find a kb article that can help to solve my
problem on XP Home.

When I boot up it says: WIndows could not start because
of missing or corrupt file

c:\windows\system32\config\system

I tried rebooting with CD and choosing "R"epair. It shows
me windows version to repair. I chose 1 and then it
returns me to C:\WINDOWS prompt. A restart ends up with
the above message again.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
