burning cd?

i am able to burn cd rw and play them on my dvd images
that i have scanned using software program from scanner.

i am not able to view images when i use the picture
program xp home edition to burn images i imported from my
digital camera . my dvd will not read those images using
the home edition xp program. although i use the same cd
rw disk. need help

Are the files you import from your digital camera in the same format as
those you import from your scanner.....

jpg.... bmp..... something else?
