Recently purchased computer with Windows XP Home Edition, replacing Wndows 98. The new computer does not have SETTINGS option on the Start menu. Where has it gone, please. Thanks

The default Windows XP start menu is different than the one on Windows 98
and does not have a Settings option. However, things like Control Panel,
Printers and Network are available on the Start menu. If you right-click the
Start menu and choose Properties you can modify what it shows on the menu.
You can also choose 'Classic Start Menu' which does have the Settings entry.
