Is there a way to set up Internet Explorer where you can
block out web sites? I went into internet options,
created a password, and blocked out the site. The only
problem is, every page I go to promps for a password. I
only want to restrict one site. How can I get this to
work?

Not sure it can be done in Internet Explorer, but you could use the hosts
file for this. The hosts file is located at
\windows\system32\drivers\etc. Edit the file with notepad and add a line
to the file similar to the following:
0.0.0.0 www.testweb.com
Replace www.testweb.com with the site that you want to block.

Hi Tony,
Add the site name or IP to the HOSTS file (you can open it in notepad to =
edit) under C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc. You should precede the =
entry with 127.0.0.1, this link describes how to do it:
