I want to upgrade my 8mb video card with a ati 64mb. I am getting
conflicting info and need some help. The manual that comes with it does
not say anything about removing the old card drivers first. Just says
removed card and install the new drivers. But most of the postings I
see state to uninstall the old video drives first. Whats the best? thanks

Hi Ray,

Did you see my response in another group? Repeated here:

Before shutting down, open device manager (control panel/system/hardware
tab). Expand the display adapter branch. Right-click yours and choose
uninstall. Appy/ok your way out, then perform a shutdown. Change the card,
boot the system with the new card in place.
