How to view a video clip?

Our computer is equiped with Microsoft XP Home,Xo Office
Pro, and Microsoft Media Player 9. We have received a CD
from a friend with some video clips taken by a camcorder.
We can not view the clips! Is there anything that we can
do in order to view the clips? Shall we try Nero, Roxio
or some other programs? What is program 3GP?

3GP seems to be a video phone video format, according to apple, quicktime
will play it. www.quicktime.com . Your friend should export to avi or mpeg.
